Homework
Homework will be given Monday - Thursday. Please find a quiet place for your child to do their homework. The average amount of time it will take them to finish their work will be 15-20 minutes. It will be review.
Agendas
Each student has received an agenda. These will come home each night with daily assignments. It must be returned each day. I do not require it to be signed unless homework completion becomes an issue.
Behavior
Our class is on a school-wide discipline system. Each day, the student's can receive marks for not following school rules. The following is a list of the marks and what they mean.
Rt = Be Respectful
Rb = Be Responsible
S = Be Safe
If they break a rule, they get a mark on the chart. The marks start over each day.
1-2 marks is a warning.
3-4 marks is a timeout.
5 marks is a note home.
6 marks is a detention.
The student's are working for privileges such as free time, picks out of the treasure box, and monthly prizes.

Friday Folders/Friday Notes
Every Friday the students will bring home a folder with the weeks work. Please review the work and keep it at home. In the folder there will also be a Friday note that will show the marks your student has had for the week. I will also add additional comments if needed. Please sign the note and return the folder by Monday. Please feel free to comment on these notes with any questions or concerns.
