My name is Amy Hubble. I grew up in Morton, Illinois just a short distance from here. I came to Bloomington to attend Illinois State University in 1994. I graduated in 1998 and loved Bloomington so much I decided to stay. I went back to ISU and got my master's degree in Reading in 2013!I started working at Irving in 1999 and this will be my 18th year teaching third grade.
I am married and have two children. Madelyn is 13 and is in eighth grade. Micah is 11 and is in sixth grade. I love spending time with my family. We like to go to the movies, foster dogs, and spend time with all of our grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. I have 9 nephews and 1 niece so there are plenty of kids to keep us busy! I also have 2 dogs. Zoe is a three year old shepherd/husky mix. We rescued her from Wishbone Canine Rescue. She was one of our foster dogs and we just fell in love! Our other dog, Einstein, is a three year old cattle dog and was a foster we fell in love with too!
I am looking forward to the next school year and I know it will be tons of fun!
