Music Program
Wednesday our third, fourth, and fifth graders performed for parents in an American themed music program. The entire program gave me goose bumps it was so beautiful. Here is a recording of one of the songs, "American Tears."

Arbor Day
Irving third grade was chosen this year by the Bloomington Beautification Committee to receive a Tulip Poplar Tree that was planted on the Irving School property. Our students performed a reader's theatre and poem for several committee members, Mrs. Lammers, Dr. Reilly, and the Mayor of Bloomington Terry Renner. It was a beautiful day and the students enjoyed it very much. Each student was given a sapling to plant somewhere in honor of Arbor Day! Enjoy the photos and video of our new tree being planted!

Thursday we had the opportunity to go to the Bloomington Center for Performing Arts and see The Orchestra Sings. It was a great opportunity to learn about the instruments and enjoy some beautiful music!
